decided to implement an RFID system to overcome these challenges.<\/strong><\/li><li data-start=\"948\" data-end=\"1071\"><strong>RFID tags were installed on the participants&#8217; wrists, and RFID readers were placed at checkpoints and the race finish line.<\/strong><\/li><li data-start=\"1074\" data-end=\"1170\"><strong>At the start of the race, each participant was provided with a wristband containing an RFID tag.<\/strong><\/li><li data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1277\"><strong>When a participant passes a checkpoint or the finish line, the RFID readers scan the tag on their wrist.<\/strong><\/li><li data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1359\"><strong>The participant&#8217;s passing time is automatically recorded in a central database.<\/strong><\/li><li data-start=\"1362\" data-end=\"1450\"><strong>The data is used to track the participants&#8217;
